A warm welcome awaits from the gentlemen of the road and air...
Well this us, 'Team Spitfire', well hopefully 'Team Spitfire' once we work out how to edit our provisional team name...
One of us is a pilot, the other an engineer and a third and fourth are just along for the beer... None of us knows anything about cars, so we are rightly being looked at by friends and associates as being one spanner short of a tool box.
In typical fashion we have yet to find a car... but when we do we hope to get noticed. If they let us through the Channel Tunnel that is!
At this stage we don't want to give too much away, but expect some larks, close shaves, jolly japes, mess room antics. And that's even before we leave Blighty.
But in the spirit that saw us win two world wars and one world cup, we shall be maintaining stiff upper lips, wry smiles and will always be willing to lend a hand wherever that may be needed. Especially if ladies are present.
So tally ho and hopefully we'll be home in time for tea and biscuits!
